If you are a Ford Raptor lover you already know just how awesome these trucks are but until you’ve driven one you still have a lot to experience and fall in love with.  These trucks are desert race inspired and are actually capable of doing just that.  Racing thru the desert.  This is a truck you can use as a daily driver and take to track without any changes.  Starting with the suspension the truck comes stock with 13” of front suspension travel and 13.9” of rear travel.  The rear suspension has a pair of Fox Racing Shocks that not only work great but look really cool.  The front suspension has huge alloy swingarms which allow you to safely jump it if you want.  Personally, I can’t imagine doing that but it’s capable of handling it!  Its powered buy a twin turbo 3.6-liter Eco boost engine that delivers a whooping 450 horsepower and 510-foot pounds of torque.  Its 0 to 60 times are impressive for a big truck at 5.5 seconds.  It’s much lighter that its 6.2-liter v8 predecessor by using an aluminum engine block and a combination of aluminum and composite body panels which give it better fuel economy.  It can tow up to 8000 pounds and it can haul 1200 pounds.  It has a 10 speed automatic transmission that can be shifted manually if you choose to by its giant paddle shifters.  (The transmission in this particular truck was replaced by Ford just a while back at 82635 miles).  This particular truck has also been outfitted with a really cool aftermarket front bumper and skid plate that have a 9500-pound Smittybuilt winch neatly hidden inside it.  Mounted atop of the bumper is a really sweet lightbar which lights up the night as if it were daytime.  All Ford Raptors come with a really cool accent lighting array that just adds to the trucks aggressive look.  Raptors are almost 7” wider that a regular F150 and come stock with huge 35” tires.  (The tires on this truck have been replaced with Goodyears that still have of ton of life left in them).  This truck was purchased with a $9345 tech package that has dozens of electronic goodies that just add even more fun.  Way too numerous to list here but some that stand out when driving it are adaptive cruise control,  remote start, heated and cooled seats, a giant panoramic sunroof, remotely operated tailgate, rain sensing wipers and an impressive sound system.  The truck has 6 drive modes.  Normal, Sport, Weather, Mud, Snow, Baja and Rock Crawl.  FINALLY Its super fun to drive.  Come see for yourself by scheduling a test drive.
